The European Region will have a certain number of wild cards which may be allocated by the European Executive Secretary based on a curriculum vitae submitted by the sailors, or through invitation, initially on quality.  Again, CVs must be must be received by the International Office before 1 April 2004.

Any non-European who wishes take part in the event should inform the International Office as soon as possible.  Places for non-Europeans will be allocated on 1 April 2004, after which sailors will be advised whether or not their application has been successful.

Note: In addition to the above, entry to the event is restricted to competitors who are or will be at least 17 years old in the calendar year in which the championship is held: i.e., a competitor for the 2004 Championship must be born in 1987 or earlier.
