2006 Laser Radial Women’s
European Championship
The Annual Meeting of the
European Region has decided that there should be an entry limit of 120 European
competitors at the Laser Radial Women’s European Championship and that places shall
be allocated to each country that are fully paid members of ILCA. The following allocation has been approved
by the European Executive. The 89
places that are pre allocated are based on the entry from each country at the
last European Championship adjusted upwards considering entry into the Laser
Radial World Championship and the published entry list ISAF World Sailing Games
in May as an indication of country interest and the current top sailors on the
circuit.

If you are from one of the countries listed above please apply to your national Laser association for an entry code. Contact details are given below.
The remaining 31 places are
reserved for European countries that have not been allocated a place above or
that require extra places. For European
countries that have not been allocated a place there is an automatic allocation
of one place per European country on application. Application for these places must be made through your national
Laser Association or if this is not possible email office@laserinternational.org
Up to 5 May extra places
will only be allocated to a country when all the initial places for the
applying country have entered. These
will be indicated on the ILCA website. The places will be allocated, subject to
entry limits and initial allocations, based on country placings on the ISAF
Ranking list. For example a country that has been allocated 2 places and has
three sailors in the top twenty of the ranking list will be given priority over
a country that has been allocated 4 places and has 4 sailors in the top twenty
who have all entered.
Additional places are
available for sailors from non-European countries who apply directly to the
ILCA office email office@laserinternational.org
These places are personal and will be allocated based on positions in the
current ISAF ranking list.
