How to use the Google Calendar:
Choose what you would like to see:
Click on the arrow in the top right hand corner of the calendar to display a list of calendars to choose from (e.g. ILCA World Championships, ILCA European Championships, Laser Europa Cup, etc.). Choose the calendars you would like to see by ticking the box next to the calendar name.
Please note that it's currently not possible to save your choice, so when returning to this page, the default selection will be displayed again.
Choose your view:
You can choose to view the calendar in either weekly or monthly mode by selecting either Week or Month in the top right hand corner of the calendar.
To navigate from week to week or month to month, use the arrows in the top left hand corner of the calendar
The current version of Google Calendar does not support an annual view. Printable year view calendars are available in pdf and .xls format here.
Display information about an event:
To see information about an event, click on the event.
Print:
You can print the calendar page displayed on your screen by clicking on the print button on the top right hand corner of the calendar.
Integrate the ILCA Calendars into your own calendar
Below is a guide on how you can integrate any or all of the calendars above into your personal calendar. Click on the calendar icon to find out relevant syncing instructions.

Your Google calendar:
Simply click "+ Google Calendar" icon in the bottom right hand corner of the calendar. You will be redirected to the Login page for your google calendar. Once you have logged in, a pop-up window will appear and ask you if you would like to add the calendar.
Google Calendar is a free calendar application provided by Google. If you do not have a Google calendar, but are interested in setting one up for yourself, you can find out more information from the Google Calendars website -
Your Thunderbird/Lightning calendar:
Copy the iCalendar link (below) of the calendar you would like to see in Thunderbird by right clicking on the calendar name and copying the link location.
In Thunderbird, go to "Calendar", "New calendar", and choose "On the Network". Select format "iCalendar (ICS)", paste the link below into the "Location" box, then give the calendar a name and press "Finish".
The Thunderbird calendar syncs with the Google calendar online, so as long as you are connected to the internet, any changes we make to our Google calendar will be updated to your Thunderbird calendar.
Thunderbird/Lightning is a free calendar application from Mozilla. If you do not have a Thunderbird/Lightning calendar, but are interested in setting one up for yourself, you can find out more information from the Mozilla website.

Your Apple iCal
To integrate our Google Calendars into Apple iCal you need to have a Google Calendar account. To set up a Google Calendar account is free, simple and quick (Google Calendars website). Once you have set it up and added our calendars to your own Google calendar, you can then sync this to your Apple iCal.

The iCal syncs with the Google calendar online, so as long as you are connected to the internet, any changes we make to our Google calendar will be updated on your iCal. -
Your Sunbird Calendar
To integrate our Google Calendars into Sunbird you need to have a Google Calendar account. To set up a Google Calendar account is free, simple and quick (Google Calendars website). Once you have set it up and added our calendars to your own Google calendar, you can then sync this to your Sunbird calendar.

Your Microsoft Outlook Calendar
To integrate Google Calendars into Microsoft Outlook you need to have a Google Calendar account as well as a third party syncing application.
Once you have set up your Google Calendar Account, added our calendars to your own Google calendar, and downloaded a third party sync application, you can then synchronize your Google Calendar with your Microsoft Outlook Calendar.
Note: As of July 2009, we have not been able to source a free software that works well in integrating Google Calendar into Microsoft Outlook. We will of course keep looking for a free alternative. In the meantime, if you are flexible in which calendar application you use, Google Calendar, Thunderbird and Sunbird are all free calendar applications into which our calendars can easily be integrated. -
Mobile devices
