February 23-26, the Laser Class held the 2017 Laser Midwinters East regatta in Clearwater FL completing 10 races. Michael Burns (USA) finished first in the Lasers 4.7 (14 boats), Joseph Hou (USA) won in the Lasers Radial (96 boats) and Robert Davis (CAN) was on top of the Lasers Standard (49 boats).
