The 2020 Laser Radial Women’s & Men’s World Championships opened this evening at Sandringham Yacht Club, on Port Phillip Bay south of Melbourne, Australia. Local hero and Australian Olympian Krystal Weir led the ceremonies that included welcomes and thanks from local, regional, and national officials. Racing begins tomorrow, Sunday 23/February, and continues through Friday. Good luck to all of the competitors!
