Luanda, Angola – Today the Torneio CNIL 98º Aniversário concluded at Clube Náutico da Ilha de Luanda. Six races were completed under the sun with a stable 10–12 knot SW breeze, which is typical for usual in Luanda Bay. This was the first of the National raking called “PAN 1.” Everyone was happy and eager to get back on the water after almost two years of no racing because of COVID-19.

The races were held for all three fleets – ILCA 4, ILCA 6, and ILCA 7 – with the focus on a possible Paris 2024 qualification event for Angola. Filip André championed the ILCA 7 fleet, Louenço Simåo won the ILCA 6 fleet, and Osvaldo da Game finished first in the ILCA 4 fleet. See results below.
