In order to become a member of the International Laser Class Association, a sailor needs to join their District ILCA Association. When you join your local District ILCA Association, you will automatically become a member of the ILCA as long as the district remains active and pays their annual dues.
In many parts of the world, a district is defined by a National boundary, such as Germany, Argentina, or New Zealand. In Australia, a District may be a single State (Queensland) or group of States (New South Wales and ACT). And in North America, although there are 26 Districts that span Canada and the USA, sailors there join the North American Region of the ILCA.
Contact information for each District is available through the Contacts page of this website.
